Rendered Scene
Saved a final render image of my 3d Scene today and am fairly happy with how it's come out, see what you think;
Physics/Particles #2 - Grass
Hey all, followed this youtube pictorial on how to create a simple patch of grass on a plane using textures & particles. Honestly found this tutorial to be one of the best for grass coming in at under 3 minutes.
This patch is useful for a number of animations & a good insight into particles so if you've got the time check it out

Links bar & Upcoming
I've placed a links bar on the right hand side of this page to provide you with some of the regulatory bodies and classification & copyright in the media industry although there is no governing body of regulators specifically to the 3d modelling industry. In the next few posts I'll be providing some more information regarding the particles system/physics engine.
Guitar Figure
Managed to complete a guitar playing figure during the week which will be linked into my 3d scene, the guitar comprises of 5 individually made pieces; the body, bridge, neck, headstock & saddle and were all created using a reference image or two from an early OM Acoustic Guitar plan by C.Grellier.

Blender Guru - Physics/Particles #1
A tutorial I had alot of fun with, in which was placed in the Top 10 Tutorials of 2011 on Blender Guru, and am still inspired to play with, uses Smoke particles to create an impressive looking Flamethrower..
Smoke & the particle system in general is alot of fun to play with, so here's a thumbnail & an additional link at the bottom if you're able to view it that may inspire you to delve into the wealth of resources available.
If you're interested here's some eyegasms/examples of blender smoke effects that'll leave you in awe :)
